HUNDREDS of people pounded the pavement at this year's Australia Day Fun Run.
Race organiser Allan Whitfield said there were more than 350 registered participants before the day and the late entries came in up until the 7.30am start.
The Bunbury Runners Club organise the event each year and Mr Whitfiled said it always attracted a large number of people because it was a family fun event that everyone could get involved in.
Darren Jenkins was the first male over the line in the 10 kilometre race coming in at just over 33 minutes.
Rosemary Giles was the first female over the line in the 10 kilometre distance coming in at just over 42 minutes.
Mirrante Ryder was the first female in the five kilometre coming at just over 20 minutes and Matt Duncan was the first male to make it over the line in the five kilometre course.
