The Craft and Quilt fair in Perth is on and Bunbury’s Cait Gordon is displaying her piece, One Purrrfect Day, in the fair.
Ms Gordon said when she works it’s chaotic and isn’t sure where inspiration is going to come from.
“It’s random and can come from a mood, or a walk on the beach, the texture or colours of a fabric, or a photo of something I like,” she said.
“Over the years I have tried to become less critical of my work and this has given me more freedom to experiment with different art forms and not be afraid to create something that is not perfect.
Ms Gordon also finds inspiration in Bunbury’s beaches and changing moods of the sea, the clouds and the sky.
Cait Gordon’s piece, One Purrrfect Day, will be on display at the craft fair on May 18 until May 22.
