It was a successful day all round for the Dalyellup Park Rangers recording two draws and three wins throughout the club.

The ladies battled hard against Australind and continued to show their steady improvement over the last few weeks. The teams were evenly matched and the game finished nil-all with Sam Reeves picking up Dalyellup’s woman of the match.
Arguably the most important game of the day was played by the Masters side, as they took on top of the table Dynamos. Dalyellup were sitting three points behind so a win would see them go level on points.
Another two goals by Dalyellup’s Phil Kirk wasn’t enough to seal three points as Dynamos scored two well taken goals of their own to share the honours. Long time servant of Dalyellup, Kevin Homden, was awarded man of the match.
Dalyellup’s division one side have struggled for results in recent weeks however managed to put in a fine display to see themselves win 4–1 against Dynamoes. Matthew Coppen and Kyle Iveson shared the goals for Dalyellup with some fantastic strikes.
Coppen managed to strike a half volley sweetly into the top right corner, whilst Kyle Iveson scored directly from a corner. The quality shown by these two players meant they shared the man of the match for the day.
The reserve sides were next up and this was a much tighter game. Australind would argue that a draw was a fair result as they put in a solid performance however Dalyellup can be very happy with their day’s work, earning themselves a 2–1 victory.
Plenty of chances fell to either side throughout the game, including a penalty for Dalyellup that was saved by Australind’s Jarrod Thomas. Man of the match went to youngster Antonio January who has been impressive all season.
Finally, Dalyellup’s league side took on Australind who have struggled to find form so far this season. Dalyellup looked to stamp their authority on the game early and took the lead with a couple of early goals.
Australind battled well throughout the game and should be commended for their efforts however the quality wasn’t there. The game continued in similar fashion to the beginning with Dalyellup scoring at will however Australind did receive consolation after scoring a fine freekick.
Seventeen-year-old Mitch Iveson got his first full 90 minutes in the league side and impressed again while youngster Ollie Kirk scored his first league goal after coming off the bench with 20 minutes to go. The final score was 9-1 to Dalyellup.
Aussie Living’s man of the match went to Josh D’Cruz who was unlucky not to get a goal or two of his own.
