The sides pushing for a spot in the Lower South West Football League finals have edged ahead of the competition with big wins in round 12.
Southerners kicked things off with an 80 point win over Boyup Brook.
The Souths side showed their strength around the ground and piled on plenty of goals.
Brett Dobson kicked five while Mitchell Decampo, Tim Lyster, Scott Bendotti and Leigh Scaini each kicked two for Southerners in the 16.20.116 to 5.6.36 win.
Deanmill also scored a big victory when they hosted Kojonup.
The Hawks started fast kicking five goals to one in the opening term. By the half time siren they led by 22 points.
Both teams added one goal to their total in the third term before Deanmill piled on six final quarter goals to win 16.12.108 to 6.12.48.
Brynn Francis kicked eight goals for Deanmill while David Fall kicked four. Michael Piper and Cayden Clinch both kicked two for the Cougars.
To finish the round Tigers and Bridgetown played out an entertaining and high-scoring clash. The Tigers got off to a flying start, kicking five goals to one in the opening term to lead by 22 points at the first change.
The Bulldogs picked up the pace in the second term, kicking nine goals and one behind. The Tigers added three but found themselves trailing by nine points at the main break.
Both teams added four majors in the third term to set the game up for a high spirited final term.
Tigers added three more goals but Bridgetown kicked four to run out 18.11.119 to 15.14.104 winners.
For Bridgetown, Rodney Jetta kicked four goals, Brett Wilson kicked three and Kyle Wilson, Peter Jetta and Reece Griffiths each kicked two.
Lyndon Muir was best for the Tigers kicking six goals while nine of his teammates cut themselves a slice of the action with one each.
With five rounds to go Imperials sit on top of the ladder with Deanmill second, Southerners third and Bridgetown fourth.
This weekend Boyup Brook host Imperials, Kojonup host Bridgetown and Tigers host Southerners.
