The Salvation Army and the Intown Centre are joining forces to hold a retro fashion and high tea afternoon on Saturday, September 10.
Intown Centre chairman David Bailey said the event will raise much needed funds for both agencies who are working hard to help those in need this winter.
“Mouth watering morsels will be on offer as the Salvation Army volunteers model an amazing array of retro and latest fashion items, which are for sale,” he said. “The Intown Centre will also have food for sale including their relishes which are highly sought after when the centre holds sausage sizzles.”
Bunbury Salvation Army Corps officer Lieutenant Harriet Farquhar said the day always provides plenty of laughs, something nice to eat and a chance to view the range of fashions donated to the Salvos – all for a good cause.
The event will run from 1pm to 4.30pm at the Salvation Army headquarters in Timperley Road, Bunbury. Tickets are $15 and can be bought at the door or in advanced by phoning Yvonne on 9721 7704.
