The high scoring clash started quickly with the Hawks holding a five-goal-to-three advantage at quarter time.
The added five more goals in the second term to lead by 35 points at half time.
The Bulldogs continued to push through the rain but the Hawks outscored them four goals to three in the third term. Four more goals to the Hawks in the final term saw them run out 18.8.116 to 8.10.58 winners.
Yet again, Brynn Francis was the top goal scorer for Deanmill with eight majors while Daniel Sarinis came alive to kick six.
The match brings Bridgetown’s league season to a close while Deanmill earn a week’s break.
This Sunday Imperials and Southerners clash with the winner straight into September 11’s grand final while the loser will get a second chance against the Hawks.
In the first reserves semi final, Bridgetown got the better of the Kojonup reserves.
The Cougars trailed by 11 points at quarter time but pulled back the margin to lead by two points at the main break.
The Bulldogs kicked four goals to one in the third term and held the advantage throughout the final term to win 11.10.76 to 7.9.51.
Neil Riley kicked three goals for Kojonup while James Mcalinden and Duncan Jones both kicked three for the Bulldogs.
This Sunday, Southerners and Deanmill will play in the second reserves semi final.
Bridgetown also kept their colts season alive with a thumping win over the Tigers colts.
The Bulldogs kept Tigers scoreless in the first term and led 3.9.27 to 0.1.1 at half time.
Ten second half majors to the young Bridgetown side saw them run away with the win 13.19.97 to 2.2.14.
Deanmill and Imperials will meet in this weekend’s colts semi final.
