The Rangers ladies side faced a tough game at home to Capel over the weekend.
The Rangers controlled most of the possession and created many chances but were unable to convert.
Capel defended well and soaked up pressure before hitting Dalyellup on the break. Capel managed to score the only goal of the game against the run of play. Final score 1-0 to Capel.
Dalyellup’s Masters Side faced Australind in the South West Cup semi-final.
The first half was cagey, with neither side really creating many chances.
Australind managed to go 1-0 up at the break through a defensive mix up by the Rangers.
Australind came out firing in the second half, firing another four past the Rangers keeper.
In the end Australind prevailed 5-0 which will see them face Dynamos in the final.
The division one fixture saw the Rangers take on Capel.
Dalyellup have struggled in the division one league this season but will be encouraged by a much improved performance this time out.
The game was in the balance in the first half with chances for both teams but it was Capel who went ahead before the break.
Capel ran away with it slightly in the second half but Dalyellup were competitive throughout. By the final whistle Capel were 6-1 ahead.
The Dalyellup Reserves earned themselves an impressive 3-1 victory over Busselton.
The Rangers got off to a great start with a great strike from Mitch Iveson before Callum Spires extended their lead with a towering header into the top corner.
Busselton fought back well but left themselves too much to do in the final stages. Final score 3-1 to the Rangers.
The Rangers league side needed to get back to winning ways after their draw with Dunsborough the previous week.
They faced stiff competition in Busselton who kept the ball well and played nice football at times.
In what was a very tight game, Dalyellups strike power proved to be the difference with Terry Mukuka scoring two and Josh Atherton getting on the score sheet.
In the end Dalyellup won 3-1 with captain Grant Calvert named the Aussie Living Homes man of the match.
