Chiropractic First Collie are this month celebrating 25 years of operating in the Collie community.
Practice owner Esyltt Graham said when she first opened the clinic a quarter of a century ago it was only a third of the size of what it is today.
“We have grown over the years and been a part of lots of lives in the process,” she said. “We have often been a part of several generations of the same families.”
“You find that there is a real connection when you practice in a community, and you are able to help on a deeper level, it’s not just about the physical.”
The practice held an open day last week to celebrate the milestone, and also had a staff dinner to thank them for their service over the years.
“I have a deep gratitude to our clients for supporting us an allowing us to be a part of their lives,” Mrs Graham said. “They have put a lot of trust in us and we have grown and expanded with them.”
Mrs Graham will be travelling to India in February with a team of 30 chiropractors from all over Australia who have volunteered to participate in the 2017 Hands on India trip.
Whilst in India Mrs Graham will be helping provide hands on care for those working in hard labour breaking river rock by hand and on tea plantations in the West Bengal region.
All the chiropractors pay for their own travel and living costs and are involved in fund raising for the program. To sponsor or for more information on the project visit www.handsonindia.org.au.
