Bunbury’s pooches with panache will be on show at a Harradine and Associates dog walk in Dalyellup to help raise funds for Assistance Dogs Australia.
Office manager and event organiser Janette Kenbeek called on dog owners to attend and said the day was about socialising, promoting dogs and fitness and general health and well-being.
“It has been a long winter and we just want to get everyone out and about to enjoy the weekend and hopefully the weather holds up,” she said.
“We decided we were going to sponsor Assistance Dogs Australia by taking gold coin donations on the day.
“We are going to be sponsoring an assistance puppy so we get to watch this puppy grow up and be a good dog for someone in need.
“It’s important to support these associations and to let people know they are out there because dogs are amazing with what they can do for people.”
Ms Kenbeek said representatives from Assistance Dogs Australia and a dog trainer would be in attendance and a raffle would be run with prizes for best dressed dog, best tricks and best behaved dog and more.
Join the team for an 8.30am start on Sunday, October 9 at the Dalyellup Lakeside Park on Maidment Parade.
