Number one musician Jimmy Barnes has now topped the charts as a number one author with his childhood memoir Working Class Boy receiving widespread acclaim.
Jimmy's special live show based on the book is also hitting all the right notes as December dates for his show have already sold out.
Working Class Boy: An Evening of Stories and Songs will see Jimmy bringing his autobiography to life on theatre stages across Australasia through a combination of spoken word performance and some music that relates to his life story.
Jimmy said the show and the book have been the most personal project he’s ever undertook.
"It's amazing to see the way people have responded to the exact things that I've spent a lifetime trying to hide. I'm very grateful that the book and this tour are striking such a chord. Hopefully it might help other people who've been through similar things to share their stories too."

Jimmy will be appearing at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre with Working Class Boy on December 15.
