High school student Lucy White took out the top prize from the Iluka Visons exhibition opening on Friday with her piece May You Constantly Be Reminded of What You Have Done.
The Dalyellup College student’s piece received the highest praise from the judging panel.
There were more than 80 pieces of work from the South West’s top young artists, showcasing the best works across all year levels from 15 high schools.
Prizes were awarded in all year levels.
Tiffany Chisholm Gardiner was the recipient of the highly coveted Iluka Prize PICA internship with her work entitled The Challenge to Coexist.
Application for the award required a written submission outlining how the residency would benefit them.
Bunbury Regional Art Galleries Director Julian Bowron said the judging job was hard with the high quality of work.
“The exhibition presents students with the opportunity to submit their work and have it displayed in the gallery for the next month,” Mr Bowron said.
“We were blown away by the calibre of work received and acknowledge the support of Iluka Resources as our major sponsor for the event.”
The public can view Iluka Visions at BRAG until 20 November.
BRAG is open 10am to 4pm daily and entry is free.
