Narrogin Detectives have charged two men as a result of their investigation into a report that a firearm was discharged at a vehicle approximately 12 kilometres south-east of Dwellingup on Friday 4 November 2016.

It will be alleged at around 11:40am, a 39 year old woman was driving between Dwellingup and Boddington on the Pinjarra-Williams Road when she saw a man in the bush on the side of the road. As she drove past, the man discharged a firearm which pierced the rear passenger door of her Mitsubishi Pajero where her 3 year old son was seated.
As a result of inquiries made Narrogin Detectives and with the assistance of Dwellingup and Boddington Police, officers executed a search warrant on a residence in Inglehope yesterday, 8 November 2016.
During the search it will be alleged police located and seized a .22 rifle, assorted ammunition, cannabis material, two cannabis plants and drug paraphernalia.
A 22 year old man of Inglehope has been charged with Aggravated Possession of Firearm, Unlicensed Person Possess Ammunition, Possess Cannabis and Cultivate Cannabis.
A 21 year old man of Collie has been charged with Possess Cannabis with Intent to Sell/Supply.
Both men are due to appear before the Mandurah Magistrates Court on 6 December 2016.
