A strong field of 39 world-class pacers from Australia and New Zealand are set to visit Bunbury next Tuesday night to contest three night two heats of the 2016 Inter Dominion series.

Last year’s winner Lennytheshark from New South Wales heads the field with WA’s highest rated chances being Ohoka Punter and Beaudiene Boaz – both trained by Gary Hall Snr.
Bunbury Cup winner Our Jimmy Johnstone and Busselton fan favourite Smokey The Bandit will also work their way through the heats in the hope of tasting glory.
The series kicks off at Gloucester Park with heat night one on Friday night before visiting Bunbury on Tuesday.
A third night of heats in Perth on Friday, December 2 will finalise the top ten point scorers who will square off in the $1.1 million final over 2936 metres on Friday, December 9.
The gates at the Bunbury Trotting Club open at 4.30pm with snack food outlets and bar facilities available.
