
A number of Bunbury students have impressed in the year 12 ATAR exams with the results now released.
The School Curriculum and Standards Authority named two local subject certificates of excellence – a prize for students in the top 0.5 per cent of each ATAR course. Luella Knuckey from Newton Moore Senior High School achieved this prize in English while Nadia van Wyk from Manea Senior College won this award for Mathematics Applications.
Bunbury Catholic College student Andrew Italiano joined the illustrious 99 club for students in the top one per cent of the state and plans to study physics at Curtin University.
At Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School, Kaiden Price achieved an ATAR score of 99.45 while 98 of the 107 graduating students received an ATAR rank.
The results were equally impressive at Manea Senior College with principal Rod Rykers confirming three students achieved an ATAR above 99 while seven of their peers achieved ranks higher than 97.
