2017’s Schools Tree Day and National Tree Day are right around the corner this Friday, July 28 and Sunday, July 30 with a number of events coming up in Bunbury to celebrate.

In the City of Bunbury, more than 500 students from Cooinda Primary School and Adam Road Primary School will get digging to plant native trees and shrubs on Friday while Eaton Community College will also host a planting event.
The Shire of Dardanup will host their major public planting event on Sunday, July 30 for National Tree Day at Lions Park, along the Eaton Foreshore.
Participants will join thousands of other generous, green-minded individuals to reconnect with nature, and enjoy and protect Australia’s natural environment.
Last year over 25,000 West Australians helped to plant more than 102,000 trees and plants at 280 sites across the state.
