The Collie Woodturners Club are set to hold a woodturning workshop on Saturday, August 19.

The workshop will be held at the Collie PCYC and doors open at 8.30am and the workshop will finish at about 3.30pm.
Cost is $5 per person and includes morning and afternoon tea.
There will be a large display of work from the Collie Woodturners Club as well as three demonstrations throughout the day. Peter Briggs of the Collie woodturners club will be turning a card trick at 9am.
At 10.30am Frank Evans will be turning a square edge bowl.
Then at 1pm we have world renown turner Niel Turner will be turning a hollow vessel and introducing steam and how to use it in turning.
People from all over the state will be entering into the competition.
