A low pressure system will pass to the south of the State late Monday afternoon and evening. A period of showers and thunderstorms with gusty winds is expected over the the southwest of the State.
Thunderstorms and showers associated with the low pressure system may produce damaging winds to 100 kilometres per hour which could cause damage to homes and property.
Conditions are expected to ease over the warning area from 10pm WST Monday.
Locations which may be affected include Albany, Bunbury, Busselton, Manjimup, Margaret River and Mount Barker.
This is typical weather for this time of the year but winds may cause damage to property and make road conditions hazardous.

* Be careful of fallen trees, damaged buildings and debris.
