As the biggest event on the Collie Racing calendar, the annual Collie Cup is drawing closer, organisers are calling on race-goers to think about their entry into the prestigious ‘Fashions on the Field’ competition.

The ‘Fashions on the Field’ competition has categories for ladies, gents and children.
The six-race program will also include the $10,000 United Crane Hire Collie Cup race and Applecross Electrical supporting race.
Local band Brad Hansen’s 6220 will perform after the last race. Full bar, TAB, bookmakers, canteen and EFTPOS available on the day.
Cox Plate and other races will be shown on TVs at venue.
Bouncy castle and face painting will be available for the kids.
Entry is $10 for adults, pensioners $5, and children under 15 are free.
Buses will be returning to the CBD from 7pm onwards.
The Collie Cup will be held at the Collie Race Club on Saturday, October 28, gates open 12pm.
