This week the 33 athletes of the Collie Little Athletics Club took to the track to compete, smashing 104 personal best records.
On top of that another five club records were broken.
The 100 metre and 70 metre sprints kept the record keepers busy, with four records being broken in those events.
Xavier Stewart has continued his fine form in his first season of little athletics, which could mean Usain Bolt may need to watch out as he is a rising star for sure.
This week’s record breakers were:

Isabel Van Beuningen, under 7, in 70m (12.63s, previous record 12.67s).
Xavier Stewart, in under 8, in 70m ( 9.92s, previous record 11.46s).

The club would like to remind all athletes that a parent is required to stay and help out on the course each week.
