The Collie Mineworkers Memorial Swimming Pool will be holding a fun day on Sunday, December 17.
At the latest council meeting on December 12, the shire unanimously passed a motion to increase entry prices at the pool in order to cover the costs of the special equipment hired for the day, such as inflatable rollers, bumper boats, a bubble igloo disco dome and a soccer darts board.
Most entry prices will be increased by five dollars for the day, with the hope that the revenue raised will also be able to fund another fun day later in the summer.
The pool fun day will run from 12:30pm to 4:30pm and there will also be a sausage sizzle on the day.
