Two Bunbury-based health and wellness companies have joined forces to create a new expo for the South West community.

Karen Crutchlow and Nina Concannon from Wellness Unwrapped together with Barbara Cafagna from The Retreat Hub are getting ready to host the Mind, Body and Spirit Wellness Expo this Saturday at Maker + Co from 1pm.
The expo will feature health and wellness practitioners from across the region, giving individuals the unique opportunity to meet with those who are passionate about health and wellness.
Ms Concannon said she hoped people would come along with an open mind.
“There’s a big movement at the moment between people dismissing alternative therapies to them becoming more mainstream, so I think we’re getting in just at the right time now,” she said.
The trio will also be screening HEAL after the expo at 6pm, which explores the minds of leaders in science and spiritual teachers, following three people on their own healing journeys.
Ms Cafagna said they hoped to create a really great, vibrant and positive space for people on the day.
“Initially we were just going to have the screening of HEAL and then we saw this amazing space and thought we can do something here and so it’s evolved into this expo and it’s about trying to support the community,” she said.
Ms Crutchlow said after screening the documentary in Busselton, Margaret River and Mandurah there had been a lot of interest from those in Bunbury wanting to see it.
“The important thing is with the Heal documentary it talks a lot about what we can do but it’s hard to do it on your own, so we wanted people to have access to practitioners and therapists in their own local community that can help them if they wanted it,” she said.
“The feedback we’ve had from the screenings of HEAL, people have just been blown away, it’s so obvious but it’s not because we get so busy in life.”
A question and answer session will be held after the screening with an expert panel.
