South West residents aged 18 to 30 years old are invited to join a newly formed Bunbury Southwest Rotaract club.
Rotaract is a global organisation that aims to empowers students and young professionals to create positive change in their local communities and around the world.
Collie resident and Bunbury Southwest Rotaract group organiser, Shannon Wood, said the club would be engaged in a wide range of community projects across the South West.
“We want to see younger people in the region stepping up to help with community projects,” she said.
Sponsored by Rotary International, Rotaract Clubs across Australia are part of a worldwide organisation of 210,000 individuals in 9,100 clubs covering 170 countries.
Members engage in community projects and have the chance to network with other Rotary and Rotaract Clubs locally, and across the country and globe.
The group will be holding an informal meeting on Wednesday, April 11 at 6.30pm at Small’s Bar in Eaton, to gauge interest from potential members and discuss potential projects.
