It’s our favourite time of the week – a chance to reflect on the changes in our region, the faces and the fun that was being had during May 2007.
There was a lot going on around Collie at the time in May 2007.
More than $60 million was allocated to the Collie area as part of the of the State Government Budget.
12 Collie Senior High School students, their parents and teachers returned from their trip to Belgium, France and Turkey for 10 days. The trip culminated in Gallipoli, Turkey, where they attended the dawn service on Anzac Day at Anzac Cove, a life long dream for some.
The community also spoilt their mothers for Mother’s Day.
Take a look at our gallery and see if you can spot any familiar faces that were featured in the Collie Mail in May 2006.
