Ashley James McDonnell did not appear in the Collie Magistrates Court on April 11 but entered guilty pleas to charges of possessing a prohibited drug (cannabis) and possessing drug paraphernalia in or on which there was a prohibited drug or plant.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Greg Ward told the court that police executed a search warrant on a home in Steere Street at 12:40pm on February 7 and found McDonnell hiding in a bathroom.
He said police also found approximately one gram of cannabis sitting on the bathroom counter, along with a plastic bottle which had been used as a smoking implement in the lounge room.
Magistrate Evan Shackleton handed McDonnell fines of $500 for both of the charges.
