A Collie man had his driver’s licence disqualified for nine months after pleading guilty to driving with a suspended licence.
Angus Patrick Lee was hit with the disqualification of his driver’s licence and a $500 fine in the Collie Magistrates Court on Wednesday, May 2.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Barry Phelps told the court Lee was pulled over by police at Coles Express at 9.35 pm on March 26.
He said after speaking to Lee, police found that his licence had previously been suspended on January 9.
Magistrate Belinda Coleman handed Lee a $500 fine and the nine-month disqualification of his licence, which won’t begin until his previous previous suspension ends.
Lee did not appear in court.
