The general store, cafes, real estate agencies and other businesses will host 36 artists and craftspeople from around Donnybrook, Bridgetown, Nannup, Boyup Brook and Balingup, who will showcase their work in a wide range of artistic genres.
Sculptures, weaving, felting, dressmaking, visual arts, resin art, pottery, painting and printmaking, blacksmithing and quilting will be just some of the art styles on show.
There will also be demonstrations and musicians around the town to entertain visitors.
Organiser Gill Edmeades said the Balingup Art and Craft Affair, which is now in its fourth year, was expanding this year and had invited Perth artist Elizabeth James Taylor, known for her visual art and basket-weaving, to display her work in the Wardong Gallery.
The Wardong Gallery will also play host to several other artists and will be home to the Upcycled Recycled Fashion Parade from 11.30am.
Ms Edmeades said the parade would be a hit, with entrants ranging from ‘the sublime to the ridiculous’.
Entry to the event is free and the fair runs from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors will be able to get a map and program, designed by local artist Roz Benson, to help them locate the various artists, shops and other facilities taking part in the event.
