The Bunbury Bulldogs were excited for their clash with Augusta-Margaret River in round six.
The Bulldogs were unstoppable in their 58 to 29 victory over the Hawks.
Meanwhile, league leaders Carey Park and Busselton played out an intense, tug-of-war showdown at the South West Sports Centre.
The Panthers’ speed and ball control helped them pip the Magpies to the post, 49 to 46.
Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault and South Bunbury went head-to-head at the Leschenault Leisure Centre.
After securing a 57 to 42 win over the Tigers, the Lions toppled Eaton, 58 to 35, the following day.
In round seven, Carey Park aimed to defeat South Bunbury and maintain their place on-top of the ladder.
The team took control and went on to secure a 63 to 36 win.
Playing at home, Busselton delivered a strong performance against third-placed HBL.
The Magpies cling to fourth spot on the ladder after their 64 to 35 win in round seven.
The Magpies dominated all angles of the court to pull away with a convincing win against the HBL Lions.
Clean and efficient defence by Busselton’s Thornley, Culnane and Hancock kept the visitors to an average of nine goals per quarter.
Another brilliant game by Bratton as she controlled the forward flow of the ball and kept the official scorer busy, leading the Magpies to a 29-goal victory.
On Sunday, Eaton Boomers held the lead throughout their match against Augusta-Margaret River.
Eaton’s 61 to 35 win has kept the team’s finals hopes in tact.
Augusta-Margaret River will strive for its first win of the season, against Carey Park, in round eight.
In its second round eight clash, Carey Park will take on HBL at Hay Park.
Busselton will play its second consecutive home game on June 9 against Bunbury.
There is a break for the long weekend with players going up to Perth to compete in the Association Championships.
Eaton and South Bunbury, both needing to win, will face off on Sunday, June 10.
