Firebirds remain top of the table by one point as a crucial month of June approaches.
The Firebirds have exceeded all expectations and predictions so far in 2018 to become the surprise packet of the competition.

In June, the Firebirds have a crucial match at home against second-placed Wanneroo.
The team will also play their second game for this year’s BankWest State Cup competition next month.
Firebirds put in their poorest showing of the season in the first round of the cup when they defeated Sorrento, but are hoping for Premier League opponents in the next round.
Coach Stephen Suttie relishes the challenging games ahead.
“We want to measure ourselves against the very best. We know we have got a lot of work to do, but – being a young team – we will learn so much from it,” he said.

“There will be some stumbles in the future no doubt but that will only make us stronger in the long term.”
Firebirds are away to Joondalup this week, who they beat 4-1 on the opening day of the season.
Last week, the Firebirds raced home to a 7-4 victory over Sorrento in their BankWest State Cup showdown.
Earlier this month, they fought off a tough Subiaco side to clinch a 2-1 win at home.
The Northern Redbacks made for strong competition, with both sides playing out a 3-3 draw.
Victories over Perth Soccer Club and Curtin University earlier in the season cemented the Firebirds’ place on-top of the ladder.
