Pine Hauliers Meat Pack
The bowlers came out of the wood work to play in the Pine Hauliers meat pack last week, run by the affable Jamie Parker and Rob Ferris and company. Twenty eight bowlers played in the popular event.
Winner was Steve Matthews followed by Gary Keep, Lyn Mitchell, Don Burgess and Jim McElroy
Scroungers
A crowd turned up for the usual scrounger game which was played in cold conditions. The rink winners were Vicki Daniel, Max Cubic, Rod Garner, Jeff Crowe and Barry Lowe, who played in the grand final.
Winner was Rod Garner, second was Barry Lowe followed by Jeff Crowe, Max Cubic, Vicki Daniel. the highest scorer was Max Cubic with the consolation going to Kath Cluning and Allan Bowers.
Morning tea
A very successful Cancer Morning Tea was held at the Collie Bowling Club.
The proceeds went to cancer research and everyone enjoyed the morning. $600 was raised from the morning tea and donations and raffles.
Thank you to our members and visitors who attended and brought a plate.
The raffles were won by Veronica Richards, Anjee Boulton, Margaret Gesue, Dawn Gleeson, Margaret White, May Hollins.
After lunch cards were played and the winners were Margaret Gesue, Nora Keen, Estelle Johnsen, Margaret White, Margaret Young.
