A cyclist who allegedly robbed a teenage boy at knifepoint in Melbourne's inner north is wanted by police.
The 16-year-old was travelling on an Upfield-bound train on June 9 when a man with a mountain bike boarded at North Melbourne station.
When the Bayswater teenager got off at Gowrie station the same man approached him on a nearby street and threatened him with a knife, with the boy handing over his mobile phone and iPod, police said.
Detectives on Thursday released an image of the man, who is believed to be aged in his 20s, in hopes the public can help track him down.
