Australia's 2018 World Cup campaign remains alive - but only just - after an impressive 1-1 draw against Denmark in yet another match in which the Socceroos deserved more than they got.
Here’s how they were rated against the world's 12th-ranked side.
Mat Ryan: Wasn't called into action a whole lot after that opening goal which he could do little about, but got down well to spare Trent Sainsbury's blushes on a deflection. 7/10
Aziz Behich: Another excellent attacking performance from the left-back, who continually got forward with ease and kick-started most of Australia's positive moves. 8
Trent Sainsbury: Rock solid after that opening goal, reading several long passes from Danish midfielders perfectly and snuffing out danger. 7
Mark Milligan: Lost his man for the goal but other than that, has looked like a strong partner to Sainsbury in the heart of defence. 6.5
Josh Risdon: Misplaced a few attacking balls as he did in the first match, but was far better defensively than we saw against France. 6.5
Mile Jedinak: Another ice-cold penalty from the skipper, who controlled the midfield and tempo of the match along with Aaron Mooy. 7.5
Aaron Mooy: Gave away the ball which led to the Denmark goal, but recovered well to keep the midfield ticking over after that. 7
Tom Rogic: A gorgeous Zidane turn will make a few highlight reels, but his silky touches were let down by a bit of indecision in the final third. 7
Robbie Kruse: Some great runs, but let down by a few poor touches - won the corner that led to the opening goal and worked hard as always. 6
Mat Leckie: Brilliant performance - was dangerous on both sides of the field, and very nearly grabbed the winning goal at the end. 9
Andrew Nabbout: Forced off with a shoulder injury, looks better making runs from deep rather than being used as an out-and-out striker. 6
Subs
Daniel Arzani: Looked lively every time he came near the ball. Surely deserves a start against Peru. 7.5
Tomi Juric: Didn't really get into the game after coming on, his only meaningful contribution was getting in the way of a Leckie shot. 4
Jackson Irvine: Only got a couple of minutes at the end, as was the case in the first game. 5
