The City of Bunbury is inviting local business owners and community members to a forum to discuss future planning of the CBD.
The forum will help participants to share and brainstorm their ideas on their vision for Bunbury and how the City can help make that happen.
It will also include a review of the parking strategy changes which were implemented in September 2017 as well as discussion about the proposed Civic and Cultural Precinct.
City of Bunbury Mayor Gary Brennan said anyone who was interested in the future of Bunbury’s CBD was encouraged to attend.
“This forum will be unlike any other the City has hosted – we want to hear from the community and have an open discussion about our CBD and we also want to let the community know about our proposal for a Civic and Cultural Precinct,” he said.
“This precinct will become the heart of our city – a true cultural and community hub for all to enjoy.
“The City is passionate about creating a space which will change and improve the face of our CBD.”
The CBD Planning Forum will be held at 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday, July 18 at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.
For those unable to attend to the forum, there will be other opportunities to comment.
