Comedy icons Denise Scott and Judith Lucy are bringing fun and laughter to Bunbury next month with their hit show Disappointments.
The much-loved Australians have sold out shows across the country, winning the People’s Choice Award at the 2017 Melbourne Comedy Festival and selling out their season at the Sydney Opera House.
Scott and Lucy are on a mission to help you embrace your mediocrity along with your shattered dreams in Disappointments.
They love their bodies, their careers, the people they have chosen to be surrounded by and the women they have become.
Every day is another perfect gift from the universe!
Well, that is what they have written on their Facebook pages.
Truthfully their lives are full of...disappointments. And the show has continued to write itself.
Scott was excited to announce the tour.
"Great news...my spirit sister Judith Lucy and I are taking Disappointments on the road,” she said.
“Please note this means our mindfulness, dance and nasal singing in the nude masterclass workshop has had to be postponed until further notice."
It had been three years since the pair shared the stage with their smash-hit show, The Spiral.
Since then, Lucy made the hilarious ABC television show Judith Lucy Is All Woman and picked up the 2015 Helpmann Award for Best Comedy Performance for her solo show Ask No Questions of the Moth.
Meanwhile, Scott won the coveted 2014 Barry Award for Best Show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival for her live performance Mother Bare.
The pair will perform at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on August 10, at 8pm.
