Historic motorbikes took over the Collie Motorplex last weekend, with the Historic Competition Motorcycle Club WA hosting its fourth club championship race event for the year.
More than 100 competitors of all ages from across the state were undeterred by the poor conditions over the weekend as they sped around the track on a range of different motorcycles from the 1930s onwards.
Saturday was a tuning day as competitors had the chance to to practice on the track before the competitive races, starting with qualifiying in the morning, took place on Sunday.
The weekend was the fourth major race event hosted by the club since the Collie Motorplex became its new home for the 2018 season.
The club will host its next club championship race day at the motorplex on Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19.
