Senior Sergeant Heath Soutar said the woman had entered the service station just before lunch time on August 31 and while paying at the counter, allegedly dropped a clip-seal bag from her pocket.
He said employees at the service station noticed the bag and called police, who found it contained a small amount of ampethamine.
As a result of the investigation into the incident, a 30-year-old woman was charged with several drug offences and will appear in the Collie Magistrates Court later this month.
Senior Sergeant Soutar said police had also made a number of other drug-related charges over the past week.

A 26-year-old man is also facing drug charges after police executed a search warrant on a house in Coombes Street on September 4.
Senior Sergeant Soutar said as a result of the search warrant, police had seized a number of drug-related items from the property.

A collection of cleaning items were stolen during a burglary at a property on Simpson Street between August 26 and 28, while an orange quad bike was stolen from a property in Concession Street in Mungalup on either August 27 or 28.

He said the vehicle was later found burned out in bushland near the corner of Atkinson Street and Hodgson Terrace.
He said police had also received a call about three offenders attempting to break into a property in Inkerman Street, but by the time police arrived they had fled without entering the property.
