Bunbury Primary School students have been learning all about road safety and the importance of helmets and seat belts.
The School Drug Education and Road Aware mascot Izzy will spend this week at the school, visiting classrooms and answering students questions.
Associate principal Franca Dillon said students had been very excited, giving Izzy hugs, high-fives and dancing with the mascot.
“We’ve been focusing on road safety this year and in particular this term and Izzy has come to school to deliver and reinforce the message with the kids and find out what the kids have learnt about road safety,” she said.
“In the end it’s about safety and keeping our kids safe.”
