Proving their worth to the competition, they took down Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault in convincing fashion during their semi-final.
Busselton and Carey Park went toe-to-toe in the first term of their blockbuster preliminary final on Sunday.
There were turnovers aplenty, as centres and defenders on both sides were applauded for intercepting passes around the court.
The Magpies edged in front and eventually crawled out to a 17 to 11 lead at the first change.
Busselton was on a roll, while Carey Park needed to regain its spark to secure victory.
Delivering a 12 goals to six result, the second term belonged to Busselton.
The Magpies took a 29 to 13 lead into the third quarter and had victory in their sights.
They ended the Panthers’ finals campaign with a 66 to 32 win.
Friday night will feature what’s expected to be a stellar match-up between Busselton and Bunbury, with the winner taking home the 2018 premiership.
Busselton and Bunbury’s A-reserves will clash in their grand final, after the Magpies claimed a four-goal win over Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault.
The 18s and Under grand final will see Busselton take on Blackwood, while the Magpies’ 15s and Under side will face Carey Park in their decider.
