A new era for soccer in Bunbury is taking shape, all thanks to a new four-on-four competition at the Bunbury Indoor Cricket and Sports Centre.
The centre will soon play host to a new indoor soccer competition, scheduled over three nights each week from Tuesday, October 9 to Friday, December 7.
The men’s teams will clash on Tuesday nights, while the women’s and masters teams will hit the centre on Thursdays.
Each round of the junior competition will take place on Fridays.
Pro Football Training teamed up with the Bunbury Indoor Cricket and Sports Centre, and its owner Daron Stenhouse, to help bring the idea to life.
Pro Football Training head of development Jack Eades said both organisations were keen to see players of varying ages and skill levels get involved.
“It’s a nine-week competition that we hope will deliver a bit of energy and excitement in the off-season,” he said.
“We want it to be a fast-paced, high-tempo experience and a hub for people to continue playing soccer in Summer.
“We’re hoping to add value and give people another opportunity to play sport during the week.”
