Ferguson Valley businesses joined forces this month to launch the ‘Find the Ferguson’ tourism campaign.
To celebrate the launch of the new logo and website, the region played host to a number of stars across the weekend.
Bachelor runner-up Nikki Gogan and the bloggers taking the Perth foodie scene by storm, Jenna Gore and Talia Blumberg, aka Spoonful of Sisters, experienced the best of what the region has to provide including a Shiraz masterclass, tour of Gnomesville and a visit to St Aidan Wines.
“We are really excited to launch the Find the Ferguson campaign and get people into these wineries, trying the wines, staying in our boutique cottages, exploring the walking trails and falling in love with the Valley.”
- Dr Phil Smith
Ferguson Valley Marketing president Dr Phil Smith, said there were few settings more beautiful and more romantic than the Ferguson Valley in Spring, with its clear blue skies and mild temperatures sitting in the early 20s.
“The Find the Ferguson campaign is really about encouraging people in Perth and surrounds to hop in their cars and come and see something really different and quite exceptional,” he said.
“While we’re well-known for Gnomesville, it’s time to shine a spotlight on the rest of the region because we’ve got some amazing wineries and breweries, really impressive mountain biking tracks and so many events happening every weekend.

Only 20 minutes from Bunbury, the Ferguson Valley Marketing committee are hoping to highlight the destination as a perfect place for a quick getaway.
Ms Gogan said it had been a great change of pace from the city.
“It was raining the first morning we woke up and it was really soft rain, we opened the door and it was just lovely, so peaceful – the birds were chirping and the rooster was crowing,” she said.
“The real magic is the people – I think that’s what makes a place special.”
