Thrilled by the success of its new album, Legacy, Katchafire is making its way around the country for the first time.
The Kiwi rock-reggae group will reach out to South West fans next month, performing at the Prince of Wales, Bunbury on Wednesday, November 14 as part of its ‘Love Today’ tour.
The tour celebrates 20 years of studio albums, awards, platinum sales, high-selling singles, and adoring fans.
Along for the ride is supporting act Earthkry.
Legacy, Katchafire’s fifth studio album, delivers 12 songs based around love, hope and peace.
Known for bringing together modern dancehall tunes with slinky pop, cool grooves and uplifting vibes, the group has developed a unique blend of classic reggae, R ‘n’ B, and funk.
The group recently had two New Zealand Music Award nominations bestowed upon them, picking up one for Best Roots Artist and one for Best Maori Artist.
