As part of Seniors Week 2018, which runs from November 11 to 17, WA Country Health is inviting local seniors for a celebratory event at the Bunbury Homemaker Centre on November 16, from 1pm to 4pm to show appreciation for their valued contribution.
WA Country Health Service South West director Kerry Winsor said that the South West Regional Aged Care Team was committed to ensuring communities were good places for seniors to mature and grow old.
“We are contributing to communities in which seniors can participate to the fullest and can find the encouragement, acceptance, assistance and services they need to continue to lead lives of independence and dignity,” she said.

“We would love to invite local seniors to join our team at our offices at the Bunbury Homemaker Centre on Friday 16 November to join in the celebrations and participate in activities which promote health, happiness and independence.”
Activities will include sampling healthy, easy and delicious recipes, finding out about locally available services, hearing tips to keep mentally well and learning about planning to protect your rights.
