Work needed after asthma deaths: coroner
A coroner investigating the deaths of 10 people in Melbourne as part of a thunderstorm asthma event has stopped short of making recommendations but says there's a need for more work in the area.
Seven men and three women died during or soon after the storm hit Melbourne on November 21, 2016.
"I do not propose to make any recommendations," coroner Paresa Spanos said on Friday, noting there's scope for improvements in medical responses, including ambulances providing an arrival time frame.
