The team at the Stirling Street Arts Centre is preparing for its annual Christmas Craft Fair, which will be packed full of homemade present ideas, entertainment and delicious food on November 25, from 9am.
It’s a great place to find Christmas presents and you can guarantee that at least 75 per cent of everything is handmade.
- Sue Dennis
Event organiser Sue Dennis said the fair had been running for a number of years and was always a great day out.
“It’s a major event on our calendar, it’s all handmade work – a makers market,” she said.
“It’s a great place to find Christmas presents and you can guarantee that at least 75 per cent of everything if handmade, homemade from scratch with lots of love.
“There’s all sorts of things, many people who aren’t involved in the centre come along and sell their wares.”
Everything from cupcakes to plants, paintings, crafts, clothing, bags, fresh produce and Christmas puddings will be on offer along with a food truck alley and live entertainment.
Work by the Australind Art Club will be for sale with proceeds being donated to Waratah.
