The South West Indian Group invited people from across the region to celebrate this year’s Diwali – Festival of Lights.
On Saturday, November 17, community members and Bunbury representatives packed the South West Italian Club’s premises for the occasion.
The event included plenty of food, live music, fashion, dancers, and information about the sub-continent.
This year’s Diwali theme provided “glimpses of Incredible India”.
A smoke-free event, Diwali is open to people of all ages, nationalities, and cultures.
Officially falling on November 7 this year, the festival takes place over five days and marks the start of the Hindu New Year.
