South West drivers Jamie and Brad Maiolo put up a fight during the first three rounds of the 2018/19 Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series.
Eager to prove themselves, competitors hit the Perth Motorplex for round one on October 27.
After taking out his heat, Jamie Maiolo was placed in second pole for the main event.
Maiolo and LJM Racing, Myalup were over the moon after he went on to win the feature race, kicking off his season on a positive note.
Fellow racers Tom Payet and Kye Scroop made it onto the podium, while Brad Maiolo placed fourth.
Round two saw Brad Maiolo place second in his heat, putting him in the running to win the feature race.
Jamie Maiolo also qualified for the feature race after placing fourth in heat two.
The Maiolos were unlucky in the final race, with Jamie coming in fourth and Brad crossing in eighth.
The brothers then returned to Perth Motorplex for round three on November 17.
Jamie Maiolo claimed the Scardifield Smash Repairs King of Wings title, finishing just .299 of a second ahead of Jason Kendrick.
Maiolo and Kendrick were neck-and-neck during the final 10-laps, before an incident saw Maiolo spin out close to the line.
The Myalup powerhouse was then able to maintain control and cross the line first.
Andrew Priolo finished in third, while Brad Maiolo came fifth.
Claiming his second win from three feature races, Jamie Maiolo established himself as the one to watch.
The next round will see drivers and fans descend upon Bunbury Speedway on December 1.
