In a bid to help the community stay safe all-year round, South West Police and the City of Bunbury are joining forces to host Crime Prevention Expos.
South West Community Engagement Senior Constable Neale Horsley said the expos would be held at the Parks Centre on December 5, Dalyellup Shopping Centre on December 11 and South Bunbury Marketplace on December 12.
“We’ll be providing people with information and helpful hints on how to secure the home, personal safety as well as looking after their property and vehicles,” he said.

“We’re also promoting the Safer Community Network from the City of Bunbury and will be providing information for people to be able to join that network.”
City of Bunbury community safety and crime prevention officer Elizabeth Larkin said the network was an all hazards approach to safety and emergency management.
“By creating the network we’re hoping to engage with a wider section of the community,” she said.
“It essentially encompasses all of our existing community safety programs.”
