More than 50 charges have been laid against 16 Rebel motorcycle gang members and associates, including 12 men and four women, for selling trafficable amounts of prohibited drugs in the South West.
As part of an ongoing investigation into the unlawful activities of the Rebels, gang crime squad detectives with the assistance of Busselton and Bunbury detectives and Australind police, executed 13 search warrants in the South West on December 17 and 18, 2018.
The search warrants resulted in police locating and seizing more than $174,000 in cash, approximately 56 grams of methylamphetamine, around 80 grams of MDMA and six cannabis plants.
Police also found a stolen hunting rifle, a sawn-off rifle, three modified handguns, a stolen off-road motorcycle and high value jewellery.
The people arrested included the Rebel’s president, nominees and associates.
