Bunbury Detectives are investigating an incident near Blair Street and the Homemaker Centre earlier this week.

According to WA police, four people were involved in an alleged ram-raid targeting the Good Guys on Strickland Avenue.

Around 1.40am, the suspects allegedly drove a Nissan Patrol 4wd through the doors of the premises before taking several mobile phones.

Police on patrol spotted the incident and attempted to stop the car. The officers were forced to abort the chase for safety reasons.

The 4wd was abandoned on Ecclestone Street, Carey Park and found later that morning.

People with information about the incident, or about the movements or occupants of the 4wd, are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via crimestopperswa.com.au.

Police are also investigating a similar incident in Dalyellup, at Gravity ETC, from August 2018.

Last September, thieves drove through a set of automatic doors before removing an ATM from Treendale Shopping Centre.

On October 25, thieves ram-raided Grand Cinemas, Bunbury and removed money from the ATM.
