Harvey rugby player Christian Huey and Dalyellup's Alexander Smit, both 12, will do their respective home towns proud later this year.
The pair will represent the Western Spirit Beasts' Under 12s side in the 15th annual Armidale School Junior Rugby Tournament - one of the biggest rugby union events in Australia.
Playing in their first ever Armidale School Junior Rugby Tournament last year, the Beasts finished second overall.
Held from April 12 to 13, this year's competition will see the WA side take on some of the best teams from Queensland and New South Wales.
The event will provide an opportunity for players to showcase their skills in front of Australian rugby representatives.
The team is now looking for sponsors to provide assistance.
Christian and Alexander were put to the test in a series of trial sessions, held between October and December 2018.
They and 18 others were selected for final touring squad earlier this year.
The duo and their families travel to Perth for training two times per week.
Christian's mother, Natalie Huey, said her son enjoyed the discipline and structure of the sport.
"The tournament attracts over 1000 players - it's the biggest U12s rugby event in the Southern Hemisphere," she said.
"We're looking forward to experiencing the fun and excitement."
