The inaugural Pole Vault Street Meet, presented by Go Geo and Athletics WA, saw Victoria Street come alive on Saturday, March 2.
Commonwealth Games 2018 bronze medallist Nina Kennedy and IAAF World Under 20 Representative Lauren Hyde-Cooling excelled in the women's event.
Kennedy achieved a new personal best of 3.95 metres from six paces, eclipsing her previous PB by two centimetres.
The men's event featured IAAF Continental Cup representative Stephen Clough, 2018 RAC Junior Sport Star of Year Sasha Zhoya, and Commonwealth Games pole vaulters Angus Armstrong and Declan Carruthers.
Carruthers soared over the bar at a staggering 5.4m.
"The event went fantastically, even better than expected," organiser Dylan Panizza said.
"There was an electric atmosphere and the athletes really fed off the energy.
